Zephyr, the blue messenger, chimes in a voice as crisp and clear as a bell, “Greetings, traveler. We can deliver a message to the elders on your behalf to shorten your journey.” He presents you with the Letter of Haste.

Arrow, the pink envoy, speaks in a slow, sonorous voice, “Traveler, we can convey a message imbued with affection, enriching your journey with love’s embrace.” He offers the Letter of Passion.

You weigh the two letters in your hands, sensing their significance. The Letter of Haste pulses with urgency, a call to speed up your journey and get to your destination as quickly as possible. On the other hand, the letter of Passion feels warm and inviting, a promise of love and connection along the way.

As you face the messenger boys, Zephyr and Arrow, you ponder your decision. The Letter of Haste promises swift passage but may cause you to overlook the splendors of Solumbra. The Letter of Passion bestows love and camaraderie but could ensnare you in tangled webs of emotion, diverting you from your ultimate purpose.

What you may not realize is that the messenger boys have a hidden agenda: they are secretly working for those who wish to keep the ultimate power mushrooms hidden, and their messages may influence your journey in unexpected ways. Proceed with caution as you make your choice. What will you do?

1. Choose the Letter of Haste: leap ahead to week 3, bypassing singular experiences and trials, but hastening your quest.
