You climb through the ice entrance with ease, turning right and heading up the mountain path. As you step onto the blue ground, you take in the alien beauty around you. The soft hues of the flowers and the gentle breeze carrying their scent create a peaceful atmosphere, as if you’re in a fairy tale. But as you take a closer look, you realize something that sends a chill down your spine – the rocks are not rocks at all. They’re actually tentacles growing from the ice, covering the frozen tundra.
It strikes your soul like lightning how deeply mysterious and dangerous Solumbra must be. The cold is biting and the terrain grows ever more treacherous. You hurry up the mountain to reach safety before nightfall, for you know the tundra can be especially unforgiving once the sun goes down.
As you make your way up the path, you notice that the terrain is becoming steeper and more difficult to navigate. You have to watch your step carefully, as one misstep could send you sliding down the icy slope.
From your vantage, the frozen landscape stretches on endlessly, and you start to feel like you’re never going to make it to safety. The biting cold seeps into your bones, and your muscles ache with the effort of climbing up the steep incline. But you keep going, driven by the fear of what might happen if you stop.
